Dear friends!

So, we are back together again! To share and enjoy each other’s company.

Considering what a small individual unit of cultural life - such as our festival - can contribute to the city, to its people and artists, what we can offer and reveal and what we miss, we have this year decided to introduce certain changes in the frame of our festival. Thus, we have brought to the fore an open research process, a creative laboratory, where we will research and play out the motivations for creating, action, and change through joint work and sharing. We need a space where we can grow together!

The festival will of course also offer a quality selection of works by performing arts makers of a younger generation from across Europe and the seas. We also kindly invite all of you - who are craving the good stuff, be it art, conversation, or food - to join us at our breakfast discussions. Even though the present festival programme does not include a children’s performance, we haven’t forgotten our youngest: we will organise a children’s performance in late autumn.

You are kindly invited to join us in the creative flow, which we sincerely hope would continue also in the post-festival time - with new friends, expanded horizons, future collaborations… Let’s inhabit our spaces with ideas and action for a greater quality of life.
